Mindfulness For Busy Lives

What the course is:

A gentle 4 week practical course, Mindfulness for Busy Lives is designed for people who feel pulled in many directions, are busy, or caught on autopilot and who want simple effective ways to respond more kindly to everyday stress and reconnect with themselves.

The focus is on real-life mindfulness and short practices and meditations that can be woven into daily routines, rather than added as another thing to do. Together we explore how to notice stress patterns, step out of automatic reactions, and create small moments of space in the middle of busy lives.

No prior experience of mindfulness is needed.

Who this course is for:

  • Struggle to find time for yourself

  • Notice stress showing up in your body, mood, or relationships.

  • Want practical tools to support everyday wellbeing.

  • Are curious about mindfulness but unsure where to start.

What the course is:

MBCT is an evidence-based course that combines mindfulness practice with insights from cognitive therapy. It helps you notice patterns of thinking and develop skills to relate to thoughts and feelings in a gentler more skillful way.

This 8 week course is structured, supportive and designed for people experiencing recurring low mood, stress or anxiety. MBCT is included in the NICE guidelines for treatment of depression and is increasingly used in therapeutic practice.

No prior experience of mindfulness is needed.

Who this course is for:

This course may be helpful if you:

  • Experience recurring low mood or anxiety

  • Notice patterns of unhelpful thinking

  • Want practical tools to respond differently to stress

  • Are interested in developing an embedded mindfulness practice.

  • Are looking for structured support in a small, guided group.

What’s involved:

  • Weekly guided online group sessions (8 x weeks)

  • Guided mindfulness practices and exercises

  • Psychoeducation and cognitive therapy based practices.

  • Reflection and discussion in a supportive group.

  • Up to 45 minutes of daily home practice is recommended during the course.
